Do I give solids before 4 months?

ASCIA recommend Solid foods should not be introduced before 4 months.
There are increased risks of allergies and choking before 4 months.

Babies under 4 months are not developmentally ready for solids and risk choking.

Placing solids in bottles is also not recommended as it changes the formula compositions placing baby's kidneys and digestive systems under strain.

See appropriate age recommendations in the 4-6 months section.
