Yellow squash puree

Ingredients

1 potato peeled
3 - 4 yellow squash

Tips

Peel squash if a smooth puree required.
Instead of using cooked potato mix yellow squash with prepared iron enriched commercial baby rice cereal. This is good for a smooth puree.

Instructions

Place peeled potato in microwave safe bowl with 1 tbsp water.
Cook until tender.
Mash with water or breast milk or formula.
Trim ends of squash.
Steam or microwave squash in a small amount of water until tender.
Transfer potato and squash to bowl and mix, blend or sieve to desired consistency.

Serve

Makes 4 ice cubes
